Along with general to major repairs of ALL makes and models of forklifts and floor cleaning equipment we also offer on-site tire pressing and planned maintenance (PM) agreements which involves us coming to your location on a schedule that we recommend based on the information that you have given us, because no one knows the usage of your equipment better than you. This schedule can be done on a basis of monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or any interval in between. This consists of pointing out any safety issues that may need to be addressed, changing the oil, greasing the entire machine, doing a full function test, taking care of any minor adjustments needed and also presenting a list of repairs needed or recommended.
Our state of the art software system gives us the ability to track the cost per running hour per unit on your fleet, giving you the tools necessary to make informed management decisions based on expenses as to when you may need to update a piece of equipment, and when you do need to update that piece of equipment turn to Hartford’s full product line-up of Tailift and Starke Material Handling Equipment.

We offer a one stop solution for your industrial forklift tire needs with a large selection of tire sizes, and a full mobile pressing unit to provide on-site service and reduce your down time. We offer multiple brands of tires in solid cushion, pneumatic air, and pneumatic solid types, with a variety of sizes and treads to suit any application.
Servicing all of Maine and New Hampshire, Hartford’s Mobile Tire Press Service helps our customers reduce costly down time for tire replacement in-shop. No matter the make, model, or size Hartford’s arrives at your location with our tire pressing vehicle equipped to handle your trucks quickly, minimizing disruption to your production.
Hartford’s extensive Parts Department adequately supports our large service area. We offer factory replacement parts, from the smallest micro switch to the biggest industrial battery, meeting all manufacturer specifications for aftermarket use, available at competitive prices. If we don’t have it in stock, we can source any part for any forklift and usually have it shipped overnight if necessary.
We also offer a complete line of batteries for automotive, solar, electric wheelchairs, boats, RVs, golf carts and all industrial equipment.
Although the largest percentage of all repairs are done at the customer location there are those jobs that can’t be done on-site for this we put our 5500 sq. ft. facility to good use taking care of that small percentage.
Hartford’s Forklift Service & Repair is an authorized service center for Minuteman, Power Boss, NSS, Eagle, Tennant and Nobles floor cleaning equipment but we don’t stop there, we service all other makes and models as well. With mobile service vans we are able to tackle all repairs at your facility, giving you less downtime to keep your cleaning schedule on track.
